Happy Friday the Thirteenth, friends!
Are you superstitious? We’ve always heard that when the 13th day of the month falls on a Friday, it’s unlucky. But why is that? Good question, right? It’s just one of those things we’ve always known, always been wary of. But what is it about that date that is so ominous? Internet to the rescue! We did a little research and found some info on the National Geographic website and from Mental Floss. So now you know!
And of course there is the Port Dover bash to be considered, and if you’re attending that, well keep an eye on the weather, and stay safe, you crazy kids!
Now, in spite of the names of these two products, you don’t have to be getting married to use them. But when you think of glowing, radiant skin, you often think of brides on their wedding day – and, perhaps grooms too, of course – because that big day, with all the excitement and love that made the day happen, well you can’t help but glow. From the Aveda Institute website:
“Inspired by the Haldi beauty ritual from India, which is a key part of the Hindu wedding ceremony, both masques deliver wedding-day skin in a way that has been time-tested in Ayurveda, the ancient healing art of India, for generations.”
You can read more about the ritual and the ingredients that inspired the Wedding Masque here.
January in Ontario can be unforgiving when it comes to our skin, but this masque, working overtime overnight, can be a saviour.
